            Abstract : 
A rectangular waveguide with two symmetrically placed double L-septa is proposed. The numerical data on the cutoff and bandwidth characteristics of the dominant hybrid TE10 mode, which are obtained by the Ritz-Galerkin method, show that the proposed structure is a significant improvement on the rectangular waveguide with two symmetrically placed double ridges.
