  • Abstract
    Presents a fully automatic polarisation demultiplexer for polarisation-multiplexed fibre-optic transmission systems and demonstrates its operation in a 20 Gbit/s system experiment in which two independent 10 Gbit/s channels are transmitted over 134 km of dispersion-shifted fibre.
