Abstract :
An enhanced-stability thin solenoid magnet design is presented. The details of the high purity aluminum stablized conductor are discussed. The design details of a special cryostat constructed for conductor evaluation is presented, and the aluminum alloy NbTi superconductor under procurement is described.
