  • Abstract
    Phase-angle control of bridge rectifiers is a very popular method used for the speed control of dc drives. A simple method of obtaining the firing pulses using the ramp-comparison method is presented. The circuit uses a minimum number of components thereby increasing the reliability of the system. Experimental results are also presented.
