Abstract
A new type of equiripple function of nonminimum order with low Q factors is suggested. It is suitable for selective filters realised by cascading the second and the third order blocks. In the simples, and the most economical case, all third order subfunctions except one are identical. The design of such a function, which is very easy to perform, can begin with the assigned value of the critical Q factor.
