            Abstract :
The wavelet analysis technique is applied to analyze the electromagnetic backscattering data from an open-ended waveguide cavity. Compared to the conventional short-time Fourier transform, the wavelet transform results in a better representation of the scattering features in the time-frequency plane, due to its multiresolution property.<>
