  • Abstract
    Factors affecting the stability of suspensions of ferromagnetic particles in non-conducting and metallic liquids are discussed. The preparation and properties of suspensions of Fe3O4particles and metallic particles in various liquids are discussed and the progress in the development of new ferromagnetic liquids reviewed.
