Abstract :
An equation to predict full matrix loading for parallel flow, parallel field (longitudinal case) high gradient magnetic separators is tested over a wide range of conditions using α-Fe2O3, CuO and MnO2. Good predictability is shown. A proposed extension to estimate recovery is also illustrated.
