Abstract
Partial refactorization, a method for efficiently modifying sparse matrix factors of power network equations to reflect network changes, is extended to include unrestricted changes in network topology. The method involves no approximations and conserves sparsity. It speeds up processing of network solutions for change cases by reducing setup time for each new case. It is in production use
