An integrated voltage regulator SPICE model is presented. The model takes into account the main electrical characteristics (dropout voltage and quiescent current); the thermal effects of the electrical variables; and one of the electrical effects of the junction temperature, the thermal shutdown, a protection system used by many commercial devices
