Abstract :
Based on the measured equation of invariance (MEI), an iterative procedure with rapid convergence is derived in a matrix form for scattering by multiple cylinders for the first time. The concept of the MEI is made full use of in the iterative procedure. Numerical results are given to show that this approach is effective and convenient for the problem of arbitrary configuration of multicylinders
