Abstract :
A simple lumped element coupled oscillator theory which permits in-phase distributed power combining to occur has been developed for planar distributed oscillator combinations. Individual oscillators are mutually locked together through a coupling capacitance network. The amplitude and frequency characteristics of the system are found to be relatively insensitive to capacitance variations. Experimental and time domain simulation results are presented for two and three coupled oscillator cases, these results show excellent correlation with the analytical theory presented
