Abstract
Several important properties of a family of epitaxial garnet films having formula Euz Y3-z Gat Fe5-t O12 grown by the LPE technique on [111] GGG substrates have been examined in this paper. It has been possible to scan compositions having

. By measuring and inferring from previous data the gyromagnetic ratio γeff , the saturation magnetization
, the uniaxial anisotropy field Hu , the Gilbert damping constant α and the exchange stiffness constant
, it is seen that while the separation between the magnetization (tM ) and the angular momentum (ts ) compensation points is very small, the domain wall mobility is low in the entire range. This suggests that the behavior of α and Hu is dominant over that of γeff .
