Abstract :
A novel polarisation splitter operating at 1.3 μm with an asymmetric Y-junction structure, and using only nickel diffusion on lithium niobate is presented. The measured splitting ratios are 21 dB for the ordinary mode and 23 dB for the extraordinary mode
