Abstract :
TM-mode radiation from a flanged parallel-plate waveguide is reexamined. The Fourier transform is used to represent the radiation field and the reflection coefficient in simple series forms. Computations are performed to illustrate the behaviors of the angular radiation pattern and the reflection coefficient. The series solution is fast convergent so that it is very efficient for numerical computation
