Abstract :
A prototype superconducting magneto-hydromechanical separator has been worked out. Test with a diamond-like type of oremixture (empholite-quartz-barite) confirmed the design prediction. Both static and dynamical separations are realized satisfactorily. This apparatus is also able to serve for other applications, where a sufficiently large high-field volume free for manual operating must be required.
