Abstract :
An experimental procedure is proposed for quickly measuring both the transfer impedance and admittance of cylindrical shields using a single triaxial or quadraxial fixture. The approach is demonstrated for circular apertures, longitudinal slots, and longitudinal strips. It is anticipated that this approach can be used to completely characterize shield faults that are intentionally introduced to increase the electromagnetic coupling to interior circuits in order to demonstrate hardness margin
