Abstract
Guidelines developed by the SEMSPLC project, a DTI/EPSRC sponsored project, are being published by the IEE. The SEMSPLC guidelines provide industry with a software engineering method which is suitable for use in the development of safety related PLC application software and is a PLC specific implementation of IEC 1508.
