Abstract :
It is argued that the competitive structure created by the AT&T divestiture has now been unraveled, particularly by the removal of the information services restriction originally imposed on the seven Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs). The impact of this removal and the uncertainty facing the information services industry as a result are examined.<>
