Abstract :
The method of determination of impedance seen by stripline exciting a multimode guide through a transverse slot in a ground plane is presented. An expression for the impedance is derived from complex power and discontinuity in modal voltage. Numerical results are presented for the slots symmetrically arranged parallel to the broad wall of a waveguide supporting TE10, TE20 and TE30 modes.
