Abstract :
A long term polarisation tracking experiment was performed to demonstrate the reliability of an automatic endless polarisation control system. The controller tracked random polarisation changes with a speed of up to 12 krad/s on the Poincare sphere. Residual polarisation mismatch was recorded over a period of 64 h.
