Abstract :
A numerical simulation method that is based on the boundary-element method is described. The effects of the surface conducting film on the potential distribution of insulating systems are considered. A particular interface condition is used for the resistive surface of insulators. This approach allows fast subsequent analysis for different positions and resistances of the surface layers
