Abstract :
A novel static single-phase to three-phase converter employing four thyristors, two fixed reactors and a fixed capacitor is presented. The basic converter circuit is described and analyzed. The analysis shows that the new converter circuit can be designed to maintain balanced three-phase output voltages under varying load conditions by controlling the gating signals to the thyristors.
