Abstract :
The initial permeability and the core loss of the ribbon form Sendust prepared by a roll method were examined. It was found that the disaccomodation was negligiblly small. The loss was so small as that of ferromagnetic amorphous ribbons. Heads made of the ribbons exhibit higher play-back, recording sensitivities, wider dynamic range and similarly flat frequency response compared with ferrite heads.
