Abstract :
Shunt-feeding techniques are used to improve the impedance characteristics of the moderately superdirective normal-mode helical dipole. A novel broadbanding effect is observed, and a VSWR less than 1.65 with respect to

over a 3 percent bandwidth is obtained with no degradation of radiation pattern.
