Abstract :
The theme of this special publication focuses on a broad range of science and technology issues as well as the economical, political, and policy interplays within the health care and public health critical infrastructures and key asset areas. This article will attempt to show that efforts are needed by all parties involved in areas for improving health care deliveries and the public health infrastructures, and critical aspects related to interoperability and the interdependence of processes and systems should be at the forefront of all future considerations. This special issue will, therefore, be centered around the topic of uninteroperability.
