Abstract :
This paper describes a new system for storing and reading data on moving items in disturbed environments. Basically this new process uses the magnatic switching of different semi-remanent thin wires. As semi-remanant wires switch their magnetization when the driving magnetic field reaches their coercive force, the coercive forces and the induced signals are used to encode the data. A simplified theory of the physics of the system and examples of use are given.
