Abstract :
We presented a novel method to recover periodically missing samples from appropriately bandlimited signals. We used filterbanks with fractional delay filters as building blocks, and described a windowed-sine method to approximate the fractional delays with FIR subfilters. Because the implementation of filterbanks and the approximation of fractional delay filters are well-studied problems, this makes the proposed recovery method flexible and easy to implement.
