Abstract :
Domain-wall anisotropy forces cylindrical magnetic domains (CMD, magnetic bubbles) to deviate from circular to elliptical geometry. Propagation of elliptical bubbles in a clear-view shift register is considered. The dimension of the etched out triangular pattern, height a and base b, providing the unidirectionality and magnetostatic trap of bubble motion under oscillating bias field are found to be smaller and larger, respectively, in case of motion along the wall-hard direction than in case of motion along the wall-preferred direction for the same magnetostatic trap and directionality for the bubble domain.
