Abstract :
The purpose of the letter is to present numerical data for the characteristic impedance of microstrip of unequal widths in an inhomogeneous medium to ascertain the accuracy of existing design data. Comparisons are made with published data for the case of a homogeneous medium in an effort to determine the region validity of this data.
