Abstract :
Using electric and polarisation current distributions, known from transmission-line-model analysis, we have determined the far field radiated by a short-circuited rectangular microstrip antenna acting at a quarter-wavelength resonance. An experimental verification for such a radiating strip wrapped around a conducting cylinder is given.
