Abstract
The paper describes a special block-successive overrelaxation technique for the numerical solution of 2-dimensional stationary eddy-current problems. The method proposed converges at least 10 times better than the complex point-SOR iteration which is usually used in solving large complex systems of equations. Numerical experience is given as well as application of the method to some problems of electrical engineering.
