Abstract
The PE2D package is a suite of programs for solving, by the finite element method, the electro-magnetic and electrostatic problems which are described by the Laplace, Poisson, Helmholtz or diffusion equation in two dimensions. This paper describes the package and illustrates its use in solving transient eddy-current problems.
