Abstract :
A numerical method is described for computing eddy currents in thin conductors which are three-dimensional in extent. The driving electric field comes from external filamentary currents. The numerical method is based on a Fredholm integral equation. This paper discusses a more general method before focusing on the numerical technique for thin conductors. The eddy currents in the walls of a box have been calculated.
