Abstract :
A method for calculating the magnetizing and coupling fields, anisotropy field, and demagnetizing factors in various thin-film anisotropic structures is presented. Single-stripe and multistripe structures are investigated. A generalized method for calculating the magnetization in thin-film structures with arbitrary shapes is given. The models allow an accurate determination of magnetoresistor sensitivity under realistic conditions
