Abstract
A stationary iterative method for calculating eddy currents in nonmagnetic conductors with harmonic excitation is outlined. The method is based upon a transformed real operator, whose norm is always less than one. Three theorems have been proved to describe the properties of the new method. An analytical and a numerical examples are included to illustrate the application of the method. The latter deals with the current distribution in two parallel thin-strip conductors with low-frequency sinusoidal currents.
