Abstract
A method is presented for the solution of the two dimensional eddy current problem in terms of the magnetic vector potential. In the formulation presented, any region in the problem may be represented by either finite elements or a boundary integral. This information is specified through use of an interactive graphics pre-processor which automatically generates the boundary elements and the finite elements. Examples are given.
