Abstract :
A new technique is presented which use a dual wavelength OTDR to measure longitudinal chromatic dispersion distribution in a single mode fibre. Longitudinal chromatic dispersion distribution is successfully estimated and it is in good agreement with that measured by the phase-shift method.
