Abstract
Problems of the quantised stabilisation and quantised Hinfin control design for networked control systems (NCSs) are considered here. First, an NCS system model is proposed which considers the effects of both network-induced delay and quantisation levels. Then, sufficient conditions for the stabilisation and Hinfin control design are derived using the Lyapunov functional approach and shown in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). By solving LMIs, the feedback gain matrix, the Hinfin performance level and the quantisation parameters can be obtained. Finally, an illustrative example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
