Abstract :
Continuous-wave (CW) operation of ridge waveguide quantum well diode lasers in the green/blue has been demonstrated at voltages as low as 4.4V in ZnCdSe/ZnSSe/ZnMgSSe pseudomorphic separate confinement heterostructures, with output powers up to 10 mW.
