Abstract
A report is given of experimental and theoretical studies of single wire buildup in the transverse (crossed field and flow) configuration. The measurements have been made with perfectly spherical near monosized latex particles in aqueous solutions of the paramagnetic salt, manganous chloride. Theories of the dynamic buildup of material on single wires have been subjected to close experimental examination.
