This paper reports on the resurgence of the Latin American manufacturing industry after suffering through several years of difficulty. With the success of such manufacturers as Embracer and Tennaris, there is no doubt of the enormous potential that Latin America has to offer. However, a complete transformation in Latin America´s social thinking and political behavior is necessary for it to become more competitive in a global economy.
