Abstract :
Effects of thermal annealing on the uniaxial magnetic anisotropy field, HA, of irradiated bubble garnet materials have been measured. Techniques of ferrimagnetic resonance (FMR) and stripe lattice resonance (SLR) were used in measuring changes in HAas a function of annealing temperature. The annealing temperature (TA) was varied from 20 to 800 C. We find that HAchanges in magnitude by as much as 1000 Oe and also changes from negative to positive value as the annealing temperature is increased from room temperature. For TA< 650C the amount of change in HAis proportional to the irradiation dosage level.
