Abstract :
The recovery curve of an HGMS separator under high loading is better described as a function of a dimensionless group which characterizes the retention process rather than the capture process. An alternative to the absorption column model of extended matrices, the so-called "transmission line model" is developed and applied to the analysis of the recovery.
