  • Abstract
The annealing behaviour of very highly damaged garnet layers implanted with Fe, Ga or As ions is studied mostly by ferromagnetic resonance (F.M.R.). The implantation leads to the formation of a paramagnetic layer which is partly amorphous. Annealing of different durations have been performed up to 900°C. Some samples annealed at well chosen temperatures and etched off to different depths were analysed so as to follow the properties throughout the thickness of the implanted layer. From these studies it is possible to propose a rebuilding mechanism and to define influence of certain lmplanted ionic species on the magnetic properties of the annealed layers.
