Abstract :
A modification is proposed in the design of the Gray-Markel lattice filter. When a k-parameter is close to 1 in magnitude, this modification reduces the sensitivity with respect to the parameter. Both the number of arithmetic operations and the roundoff noise are identical to those of the original filter.
