Abstract :
Translinear logic (TLL) has been characterised and compared with integrated Schottky logic (ISL) and emitter-coupled logic (ECL) under the same processing conditions, It was found that TLL had a similar speed and power performance as ECL with a packing density similar to that of ISL, but due to a nonideal transfer characteristic it cannot be used in complex applications.
