Abstract :
Experiments on the radiation from various types of low horizontal antennas are described. A 2-kilowatt, 500-cycle quenched spark set is used at a wave length of 800 meters. The influence of the ground is investigated. Directional radiation is found, and also an apparent non-reciprocity between directions of non-radiation and those of non-reception.
