Abstract
In eddy current analysis by the boundary-element method (BEM), two sets of surface integrals are derived from Maxwell´s equations by using Green´s theorem. Even though one set of integral equations may be enough to determine the unknowns, all of the equations are used in order to get reasonable solutions with the help of the least squares method. Because least squares solutions require more computer memory, an iterative approach is used. The surface electric and magnetic fields are solved alternately using little computer memory
