Abstract :
The static and dynamic characteristics for various electromagnets are computed by means of a 2-D or 3-D finite element method. The software has good, general pre- and postprocessing functions and runs on microcomputers. Color graphical input and output are used extensively. Optimization can be done by combining the program with the orthogonal experiment design method, so the program can be used for the CAD of electromagnets
